The Ford Ranger comes in a lot of trim levels – the STX, XLT, XL, Sport, FX5 and FX4 II.  This is one of the’compact’ pickup trucks, being capable of accommodating three passengers.  For over eighteen years and running, the Ranger is noted as the hottest and most popular compact pickup in America.  As a matter of fact, the R.L.  Polk & Company gave the Ranger an award for the highest faithfulness ownership for 5 years straight.  The most recent Ranger sports a more assertive appearance twinned with a more athletic look. 

Ever since its release in year 1982, automobile fans have loved the Ford Ranger.  Ford Motor introduced the pickup and clients swarmed in.  They wanted quality automobiles, and they got it with the Ranger.  For years , the truck has been changed and improved but the looks remain electrifying. 

The current Ford Ranger underwent design adjustments such as clear lens parking lamps, new fender colours, rough fender flares, 9-inch Ford trademark, a horizontal grille insert, new tail lamps and the window logo for Ranger.  The automobile also goes with a 2.3-liter engine packed with four cylinders.  Some of the selection of colors available for the truck includes torch red clear coat, redfire clear coat metallic and yellow clear coat.  Other extra options that you can have in your automobile are new packages, 15-inch aluminum wheels forged with Alcoa and body color side moldings. 

The motif of the exterior has equipment like hood structure, power dome hood and aggressive valance.  These features are also present in other Ford trucks.  The exterior of the wagon flaunts great functionality and sporty look.  Its seats have seatbacks and sculptured strengthen for support and comfort.  Alternatives such as steel wheel wrapped in leather, sports bucket seats and leather trimmed seating. 

The Pickup of the Year Award and Best Compact Pickup of the Rockies Award are only some of the proofs of how worthwhile the Ford Ranger is.

Classic Trailers

When I first decided on making a website of Vintage Travel Trailers for Sale, I thought, “Who in the world would be looking for old travel trailers”.  And much to my surprise, there are quite a few people still interested in the vintage {travel} trailers.

After perusing so many sites about the old days and camping trailers, made me remember such great times back in 1965.  Oh what a great life we had back then, huh?Once Dad retired from the Marine Corps, he located old pals from his military days.  His name was Red Martin, just in case anyone remembers him.  His wife was Maggie and their son was Butch.  Also, Jim and Laverne Weis were great fun to be around and also involved with Kenskill travel trailers.All right, let’s finish my tale.We were in Orange County before moving. to Granada Hills, Ca.  There my Dad, Mom and myself nestled into our new life of being civilians.We relocated to that area to be closer to where my Dad worked at Kenskill Travel Trailers.He made it to many travel-trade shows so he could present the new lines of trailers.  I can remember one tradeshow, in particular, that I attended with them.  It was at Dodger’s Stadium in the large parking lot with all of the new travel trailers and some classic vintage travel trailers from the 1940’s.  We were like one big family back then in the travel trailer business.  Most of the time, my Dad would be whistling the song “Trailers for Sale or Rent”.  Great times were in abundance!This site is always going to be here so we can remember what it was really like in those days.

The classical trailers at that time were more of the long long trailer and Kenskill was at the height of making the 18’ classic enclosed trailer for smaller families to be able to go camping for the weekend.  Kenskill was a big name in the 1960’s in California.A much cherished travel family treasured by all.  The travel trailer supplies and equipment were top of the line for those days.The classic airstream was one of our greater challengers.The Kenskill Company only turned out high-quality trailers and their supply stocks were plentiful.  Sadly, the vintage camping trailers are all but a few.  You might be able to at least see one if you are lucky enough to get to a big trailer tradeshow in a large city.What an awesome sight they are, much less to actually buy one.  I guess if I really added up the years, you could call them antique travel trailers now.  But I won’t, because that will make me feel too old!

Let’s not forget the classical airstream trailers.  They are also a true work of art with their curved wood panels in the interior to the flashy silver streak trailers on the outside.  A used Airstream classic travel trailer is a legend in the truest sense of classic travel trailers.  The Airstream trailer following is huge among vintage travel trailer associations.  You can always find trailer supplies through catalogs to spruce yours up, if you are lucky enough to have one.

Let me say a little more about these wonderful antique trailers that you can buy.For the restocking of your trailer’s necessities, going to different websites is a suggestion.  I almost forgot to mention two more classic trailers.  They are the vintage tag-a-long camper and the 1951 vintage vagabond trailer.All were special days of slow-going lives, longer weekends and many days of family fun in the camping trailers back then.
