* Fill up the balloon with water (yup, that’s correct – water).

* Close of the top of the balloon.

* Melt wax in double-boiler, electric skillet or sauce pan (make sure to use an old skillet or sauce pan).

* Keep temp somewhere near 165 to 185 until wax is fully melted.

* Let cool until almost firm.

* Place water balloon into the wax, pull it out quickly, and let the layer of wax cool and set.

* Dip the balloon and cool the wax repeatedly until you have approximately 1 cm thick of wax surrounding the balloon.

* Burst the balloon so you can remove it from the center of the candle.

* Slowly pour warm wax inside your balloon candle shell and roll the shell continuously to fill up the interior.

* Before the last pour, place the wick in the center and allow the final warm wax to surround it.

* Do not release the wick until you have allowed the wax to cool so that the wick is supported.
